212 West 72nd Street continues to demonstrate exceptional market momentum, recently securing three contracts signed and closed within one week and pushing the building past the 80% sold mark. This surge highlights sustained demand for spacious, finely crafted homes in one of Manhattan’s most established residential corridors.

Elevated Demand for Flexible, High-Quality Space

The latest buyers reflect a clear trend: a preference for residences offering both refinement and versatility.
The contracted homes—8J (asking $3.95M), 7J (asking $3.595M), and the final remaining two bedroom, 10L ($2.595M) —feature layouts that support contemporary living, from daily routines and remote work tom entertaining with ease.

“The pace this past week has been extraordinary — three contracts signed and closed within days says Ammanda Espinal, Sales Director at 212 West 72nd Street. It really shows how quickly buyers move when they find homes that offer true scale and individuality, the way ours do. Our remaining three- and four-bedroom residences each have their own unique layout and perspective — the kinds of spaces and views you simply won’t find anywhere else on the Upper West Side. That level of quality and distinction is
exactly what’s driving the strong momentum as we enter the final phase of sales.”

Final Opportunities: A Limited Collection of Distinctive Larger Homes

With all studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms sold out, only a limited offering of three- and four-bedroom residences remain, starting from $3.495M. Most feature entirely unique layouts, with generous scale and architectural variety, thoughtfully conceived by CetraRuddy, that continue to attract discerning Upper West Side purchasers.

Terrace Living and Signature Skyline Views

The remaining residences are further distinguished by sweeping Upper West Side and Midtown skyline views, with select homes offering private terraces, a rare luxury in this part of the neighborhood. These elements pair expansive interiors with coveted outdoor space, enhancing the overall living experience.

A Central Upper West Side Address

Perfectly positioned at 72nd Street and Broadway, the building sits at the heart of the Upper West Side—mere moments from Central Park, Riverside Park, Lincoln Center, acclaimed dining, boutiques, and convenient transportation options. Residents enjoy the best of the neighborhood right outside their door.

212 is hardly mere moments from Central Park, Riverside Park, Lincoln Center, Whoever wrote that has no clue about that area. Just come by when the weather is a mite bad.

This building should make a welcome dent in our city’s housing crisis.
