More than 100 firefighters were called to the scene of an apartment fire that broke out at 210 West 101st Street on Tuesday night, and had it under control in about an hour.

The blaze broke out on the third floor of the building, and it was called into the fire department at 7:23 p.m. The 106 firefighters called to the scene had it under control by 8:29.

Two people were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital with what an FDNY spokesman called minor injuries.

The cause is under investigation.

Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration.
