Never Forget!
Nothing else to say…
I remember every moment of the fateful day (and the months after)– the way the air smelled and stung my eyes; the way NYers everywhere were in “help” mode, but couldn’t figure out how or where to do it; The way we were in a collective state of anxiety. The feelings of loss and uncertainty. And the welcome kindness of strangers.
I’ll never forget!!
Thanks Gary, the pic really captures my feelings. There are no words, just a sinkhole of sadness. Hope and pray that we can find a better way in the coming years.
There is nothing I can add other than thanking Gary for honoring this solemn occasion.
Whenever I see the towers like this, I’m reminded of the quip that they looked like the boxes the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings came in. I’ve always loved the joke, and time has only deepened that love.
Yes but there was a lot of soul in both buildings- no one mentions that at the top of one was an artists depiction of 100 years of ny jazz artists that circled the entire top floor- really great to walk around!
Sometimes the cost of freedom can be quite high. But we easily find it annually especially on this 25th remembrance. It’s a day to share our brothers and sisters pain – if ever there was one. Thanks Gary. God bless America.

Thank you, Gary, for the tribute. For those of us who lived through it, we couldn’t possibly forget it and continue to feel for the families of those that lost loved ones that horrific day.

an incredibly scary day that turned into an incredibly sad day! Never forget it!
