Make a meaningful connection with an older adult at DOROT’s Rosh Hashanah Package Delivery
Join us this September to make a difference for an older adult by delivering a festive holiday package and connecting over a friendly visit or phone call. Spending just an hour of your time can have a meaningful impact on an older neighbor, especially during the holiday season.
One Package Delivery recipient, Renee, shared how much the visits mean to her: “I always look forward to the package deliveries. Anticipating both the package and the [volunteer] here always has been a joy.”
Package Delivery is a great fit if you want to brighten someone’s day, build connections in your community, or simply share in a conversation. As another Package Delivery recipient reflected, “I loved the visit, the package, and my conversation with the volunteer. The more than 40-year age difference between us evaporated in a moment.”
This holiday season, make a connection that can make an older adult’s day—and yours as well!
