The Upper West Side’s largest outdoor holiday market opened on Tuesday.
The Columbus Circle Holiday Market is located at Columbus Circle and the southwest corner of Central Park. The market will remain open through December 31. The stalls will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The market will be closed on Christmas Day.
“Internationally known as one of the most elegant and beautiful places for holiday shopping,” reads a description of the Columbus Circle Holiday Market on the Urbanspace Markets website, which also runs the holiday markets at Union Square and Bryant Park.

You can expect to find a variety of goods, including vendors selling art, jewelry, home goods, clothes, and food.

For those more Uptown, there is a Holiday Market at Columbia University’s Forum building lobby on W 125th Street and Broadway every day.
The most important update on this: they are open until 12/31. It used to be until Christmas Eve, which was…pretty mean to the vendors!!
The Bryant Park Market is impossible to walk through. The crowds are a nightmare and, now that the tree has been lit, it will be even worse. Stay in the neighborhood!
I despise this and the ones around the city like it. they take up street space.
they sell overpriced junk aimed at tourists.
