Finally it’s being talked about the taking up tables by those using computers.
Lol! Too true.
Lol, too true!
I keep wondering how all these coffee shops stay in business. Just filled with students at their computers sipping on a coffee for 5 hours….
Here’s a business tip to anyplace that wants to sell more coffee and other related products: Turn off the wi-fi.
Decide why you are in business: to sell your products or to provide a haven for those escaping from their homes. As the cartoon suggests (and as I, a potential customer, and I suspect others can confirm), you can’t do both. You’re losing customers for your products by providing warm-and-welcoming space for the technologically dependent to move in.
I’d like to be able to go to a place, have a nice coffee and sit to enjoy it. But I can’t do that anymore, despite the proliferation of coffee bars and shops.
Decide: Why are you in business?
