Get a great meal less expensively is “silly?” Explain.

Back when restaurant week started you could get really great deals in places that many if not most would call special.
Now it’s nice, but nowhere’s near the deal it was

Why? Because the city is doing well, and restaurants don’t need to bend over backwards for the business. The fact that commenters can say it should end (funny enough the same negative reaction some have to every aspect of life here)?
It’s actually a sign of the city’s strength.

Meanwhile, though10% off isn’t as good as 30% off it’s still nice. And I’ll take it.

The menus are not as special as they were when they first started restaurant week. There was a good deal on a better menu , I looked at a few restaurants on the list that are not as interesting and wouldn’t go out of my way to dine on their restaurant week menu.

If someone sees a menu that looks interesting, please point it out.
