Yes, even Santa needs his space sometimes!
Brilliant!
Theological accuracy would have Jesus more likely born in September or October, not in December. In fact, the celebration of His birth in December was an attempt by the Romans at the time to “subsume” Jesus’ birth into the Roman festival of Saturnalia, which was celebrated in late December. It wasn’t until 350 A.D. that the Church “officially” declared December 25th to be the date of Jesus’ birth – thus preventing Roman anger over allowing the Judeo-Christians to have a separate celebration.
In this regard, Jesus’ birth actually should not ever “interfere” with Santa and the holiday we call “Christmas.”
