Hot air – highly appropriate!
I’m living for the Gary Martin balloon in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! Genius!
When I think of what it takes to step up and ask for votes, and then serve, and how few do it even a little well (much less stick around and suit the job and gain long experience), and the bunch of clowns and racketeers that our fellow voters seem to prefer ….I am just so thankful for Gale Brewer. And Gerry Nadler. A warm Thanksgiving to all, despite our world that has so much to be grief stricken and gloomy about.
To be honest, I’m not that fond of Ms. Brewer, but I wholeheartedly share your respect for people who stand up and run. It’s not easy, and you have to put up with a whole lot of complaining by people who do absolutely nothing for their community and make no effort to understand the complexity of real life. .
