Whether she’s portraying a protective Southern mother on vacation in 1950s Italy (Margaret Johnson, The Light in the Piazza), a New Jersey teen with a disease that makes her age prematurely (Kimberly Levaco, Kimberly Akimbo), a quirky fairy godmother (Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella), or a vulnerable former showgirl (Sally Durant Plummer, Follies), one thing is certain: Broadway star Victoria Clark is a born showstopper.

On Wednesday, October 16, fans of the celebrated actress and gifted soprano can enjoy An Evening with Victoria Clark, an exclusive, one-night-only performance high atop Lincoln Center in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse (70 Lincoln Center Plaza, 165 West 65th Street). Proceeds from this special evening will support The WNET Group’s award-winning public media work.

The evening begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from 6:-6:45 p.m., followed by an intimate cabaret-style performance from 6:45-7:30 p.m. Featuring an eclectic repertoire of Broadway showtunes, favorites from The Great American Songbook, and more, this one-night-only concert will be a truly enchanting evening.

Victoria Clark garnered Tony Awards for her critically acclaimed performances in the Broadway musicals Kimberly Akimbo and The Light in the Piazza. She received Tony nominations for her starring roles in the 2015 revival of Gigi, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and she has also dazzled Broadway audiences in The Snow Geese, Urinetown, Cabaret, Titanic, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, A Grand Night for Singing, Guys and Dolls, and Sunday in the Park With George.

Her PBS credits include Great Performances – Sondheim: The Birthday Concert, a star-studded 80th birthday tribute to legendary Broadway composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim featuring Patti LuPone, Bernadette Peters, Audra McDonald, Elaine Stritch, and other icons; Live From Lincoln Center: The Light in the Piazza, where she reprised her Tony-winning portrayal of Margaret Johnson; and a surprise guest star appearance as Beggar Woman in Live From Lincoln Center: Sweeney Todd in Concert, starring Emma Thompson and Bryn Terfel.

Tickets for An Evening With Victoria Clark at $350 are available here. For more information, please email the WNET Events Office at events@wnet.org or call 212.560.6677.
