Looking forward to robot dogs — they won’t poop and won’t need (spaced out) humans to have them walk properly on sidewalks.

A.I. just don’t do grammar, do it?
“They don’t make them like they used to” is an expression and also a Kenny Rodgers song. I assume this is a play on that.
This expression goes back at least to the 1920s, probably earlier.
LOL – wondered the same thing. . Is A.I. singular or plural?.
It’s AI, singular form for both, similar to “aircraft”; a specific exception is possible, but rephrasing is better.
It’s Gary’s character that is using bad grammar, not A.I. If the character used good grammar, he would say, “A.I. doesn’t……”.
Funny, Gary! Had a nice laugh this morning. AI will now be trolling you, though. It has yet to develop a sense of humor.

Will life imitate art? This article is being published on 8/30. According to the Terminator film series, Skynet (the military AI which leads to the destruction of the world) becomes self-aware on August 29, 1997. Skynet, of course, controls the entirety of the military program, including for missile launches.
The current Administration is planning to install AI in its defense systems program. (That is not a joke.) Is Skynet a real possibility?

Pope Leo’s , from day one, statements and warnings on AI are well worth reading and contemplating…. You don’t need to be Catholic, just a human with a brain , and the ability to think for oneself……
Like anything else it , AI , can be used for good or evil , if you want to see the evil of AI look at the recent drone attacks on Kiev, Ukraine.
