Police released a sketch Thursday night of a man wanted in connection to sexually attacking a woman in Central Park earlier this week, NYPD said.
A 21-year-old woman was sunbathing around 1:30 p.m. at the Great Hill section of Central Park near West 104th Street and West Drive, when a man ran at her, while exposing himself, police said. The woman attempted to run from the man, but he tackled her from behind, NYPD said.
“She was able to fight the man off, and he ran away southbound,” NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell added. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital.
Here is the sketch police released on Thursday night of the suspect.

The suspect, who police describe as “in his 30s, Black, around 6-feet tall, with a medium build and curly hair, wearing a light-colored shirt and shorts,” has not been caught as of 9 a.m. on Friday.

Horrific. One cannot even sunbathe in peace during the day!
Women beware…of men..
