About the Cartoonist: Caroline Dworin sent her cartoons into West Side Rag because, she wrote: “We certainly need a little more joy in the face of, ohhh, well, absolutely everything else.” Dworin has written for The New York Times, and, calls cartoonists “some of the kindest, funniest humans I’ve ever met.” She has contributed cartoons to The New Yorker.
