If I was going to leave the country, I sure wouldn’t wait for the M11.
Because I’m a skeptical UWSider, I’ll ask where is there an M11 stop that’s next to a park? Between that detail and the depictions of the buildings on the opposite side of the street I was too distracted to chuckle at this.
Chang it to the M10 or the M20 on CPW and I’ll complete my laugh!
Perfectly explainable. It was a Sunday, and the bus was rerouted down 81st Street because of Open Streets.
Yesterday, I saw an M11 bus going down Broadway in the low 100s. Stranger things can happen !
Its’ because of the “open streets” on Amsterdam 106-111 . It will happen every weekend for the next few months.
The M7 and M11 buses are now regularly detoured for “open streets”
Incredibly, the City no longer believes in mass transit as a priority.
This Mayor & DOT have made a policy out of hurting and inconveniencing the many for the few. Never mind the disabled or elderly. With parks on both sides of them the “Open Plans” zealots closed-not opened the streets so necessary for bus riders. One term Mayor??
The M11 is actually a cool way to see Manhattan and different neighborhoods.
The 11 bus actually exists? I’ve heard of it, but I can’t say I’ve ever seen one.
