Love Rocks NYC at the Beacon: The Black Keys, Hozier, Allison Russell, and a Wild Trio of Hosts

The eighth annual Love Rocks NYC benefit concert, dedicated to supporting God’s Love We Deliver, a nonprofit organization that provides nutritious meals to people facing serious illnesses such as HIV/AIDS and cancer, is set to make its grand return to the Beacon Theatre on March 7.

Since its inception in 2017, the Love Rocks concerts have raised $30 million, helping to fund three million meals to New Yorkers living with illnesses. From 1987 to 1991, God’s Love We Deliver operated out of the kitchen at West-Park Presbyterian Church on Amsterdam Avenue and West 86th Street, serving up to 250 meals a day to people living with AIDS.

Perhaps the most captivating component of this year’s benefit is the hosts: Tracy Morgan, Conan O’Brien, and Jim Gaffigan. Morgan, often spotted courtside at New York Knicks games, is renowned for his wild stand-up comedy antics. Conan O’Brien is the former longtime late-night TV host, also known for writing iconic Simpsons episodes. On the other side of the spectrum, Gaffigan is celebrated for his clean humor about fatherhood, religion, and everyday life observations.

This year’s musical headliners form an impressive lineup. Among them is Hozier, renowned for his soulful and gospel-driven vocals; The Black Keys, the five-time Grammy-winning rock duo hailing from Akron, Ohio; Tom Morello, recently named the 19th best guitarist of all time by Rolling Stone magazine; and Nile Gregory Rodgers Jr., a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.

Other talented musical performers include Trombone Shorty, Marcus King, Joss Stone, Don Felder, Larkin Poe, Emily King, Allison Russell, Lucius, Luke Spiller, Bettye Lavette, Quinn Sullivan, and the former five-time World Series-winning center fielder Bernie William on classical guitar.

God’s Love We Deliver pre-sale tickets are currently available (use password: DELIVER).

Public tickets go on sale Friday, February 9, at 10 a.m. here.

This looks sweet! One of my favorite parts of 30 Rock is when Tracy loses his meds and they’re scrambling to get him on the Conan show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-vp0AprzrA
