Three people were hospitalized after a fire ignited early Friday morning on the Upper West Side, an FDNY spokesperson confirmed to the West Side Rag.

The flames broke out about 2:55 a.m. on the first floor of a residential building at 137 West 82nd Street, between Amsterdam and Columbus avenues,” FDNY said.

The injuries included two firefighters and one resident, according to the spokesperson. The trio was taken to Mount Sinai West with non-life-threatening injuries, FDNY added.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
