In the early morning hours after Thanksgiving, at around 4:50 a.m, Friday, a 30-year-old man was stabbed after an altercation with a 23-year-old male relative, in the Frederick Douglass public housing development, police said. The knife was recovered. The relative fled, and the victim was taken to Mt. Sinai Morningside Hospital, where, police said, he is “not likely,” i.e. to die.
There was another stabbing just now around W 83 st homeless shelter. A woman was stabbed with a box cutter and taken to the hospital.
