In the early morning hours after Thanksgiving, at around 4:50 a.m, Friday, a 30-year-old man was stabbed after an altercation with a 23-year-old male relative, in the Frederick Douglass public housing development, police said. The knife was recovered. The relative fled, and the victim was taken to Mt. Sinai Morningside Hospital, where, police said, he is “not likely,” i.e. to die.

Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard.
