Are your kids jokesters? Then Halloween at Stand Up NY might be perfect for them.
The Upper West Side offers some world-class, FREE Halloween options. You can be scared out of your wits by the Halloween Extravaganza and Procession of the Ghouls at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine on West 112th Street; tour the stunningly decorated brownstones on side streets throughout the neighborhood; and take your dog trick or treating.
There’s another possibility happening at Stand Up New York, the comedy club at 236 West 78th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam. “Kids are invited and if they tell a joke on stage they get treats,” a spokesperson for the club told the Rag. It will run from 6PM-8PM and is also free.
We welcome other Halloween suggestions — and jokes — in the comments.
