As long as voting is in the air…
The Riverside Park Conservancy is asking New Yorkers from all over the city to vote for their favorite goat in Riverside’s Go(a)t Talent competition at riversideparknyc.org/vote.
Voting wraps up this Thursday, August 25th, and the results will be announced during the farewell ceremony for the goats on Friday, August 26th. The event is free and will take place at 120th Street & Riverside Park at 11AM.

Big G, Cheech, Elenor, and Skittles have all demonstrated tremendous talent for consuming non-native plants and weeds over hard-to-reach terrain, but only one will win the coveted title of “favorite intern” and officially be known as the G.O.A.T of 2022.
Will it be Mr G. and his supreme grazing skills? Perhaps Cheech, considered to be friendliest of the quad, will win over voters with his charm? But you can’t dismiss Elenor (without an A) who is known as the jack-of-all-trades with artistic talents! And then there is Skittles who has repeatedly proven that no plant is out of reach with his superb climbing skills.
Following the festivities, their bellies full of NYC shrubbery, the beloved goats of Riverside Park will officially wrap up their summer of city living, making their way back home to Rhinebeck, NY.
I love Elenor and Skittles! Truly great goats. Will look forward to summer of 2023 to see them back in the park!!! Thank you
Thursday August 25th, I presume.
Don’t go! 🙁
It’s so sad when they leave at the end of the summer, it’s like when Danny thought Sandy was going back to Australia.
So we’re voting on who is the G.O.A.T. goat? A tough choice among all these fine contestants – a real hoof biter!
