You get what you pay for. It’s a tough lesson, but most people learn it sooner or later. It’s true for your home, it’s true for your phone, and it’s true for your cleaning service.
Most cleaning companies offer bargain-basement discounts and do everything they can to cut costs. They hire contractors, not employees. They cram tons of appointments into each day. They pay low wages with no benefits.
Not surprisingly, their cleaners are overworked, underpaid, and stressed out. The end result is to be expected — hurried and lackluster cleanings by people who hate their jobs. If you want a truly clean home, you need to hire a company that treats its employees well.
That’s where Well-Paid Maids comes in. We are the NYC area’s first and only living-wage home cleaning service. All of our employees make at least $26 per hour and receive a full benefits package, including 22 paid days off, health, dental, and vision insurance, and 100% employer-paid commuting costs.
Not only is it the right thing to do, it means we employ the happiest, hardest-working folks in the business. Book a cleaning today on our Well-Paid Maids booking portal and see the difference a living-wage makes. If you book within the next 24 hours, use coupon code WESTSIDERAG for an additional $20 off. You won’t regret it!

Hi all! I am the Area Director for Well-Paid Maids NYC and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have down here in the comment section.
Thanks in advance for your consideration.
Good concept but why do you make it so hard to find the cost to the consumer on your website?
It’s essentially EIGHTY DOLLARS AN HOUR, regardless of how they try to mince words
We do cost more than the competition but, given our high starting wage and full benefits package, we think it’s fair.
Work in this industry, especially in New York, has been underpriced for a very long time, with illegal practices (worker misclassification, wage theft, etc.) bringing down the price floor.
But workers are tired of the race to the bottom and so are we! I hope you’ll book with us and see the difference a living wage makes.
How much would you clean someone’s house for?
Steve,
Thank you so much for the kind words of support! By my count, it’s a single click after you select your home size.
It’s in the dropdown menu – maybe you didn’t see it until later in the booking process.
If you can believe it, some companies make you give them your email address before they’ll even show you their order form (so they can spam you later)!
Anyway, thanks for your consideration. We look forward to earning your business!
