La Maternelle — a French and English bilingual preschool with locations at 80 Riverside Boulevard (63rd and 64th Street) and in Pelham, Westchester — will open a brand new center on the Upper West Side this fall.
La Maternelle III will be located at 166 West 97th Street, between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues, and will offer French learning programs for infants and toddlers (3 months to 2.5 years). The center will be open Monday through Friday from 7am – 6pm on a 12-month rolling basis.
At La Maternelle, the priority is to make sure children have a safe, fun and nurturing learning environment while being introduced to the French language. The owners believe that providing bright and spacious classrooms with huge windows will give your child a better learning experience. The new center will also come with a private outdoor playground which is the perfect environment for exploration.
Children will receive different enrichment classes each day such as yoga, music, movement and more!
Registration is now open for this new location! Get a 10% discount on your first month of tuition for enrollments made before July 1.

Interesting. Seems like they took over the Chabad space on 97th Street? I’m curious about this as there is already a French preschool on the same block down the street Les Petits Sourires at 120 West 97th Street; I’m sure they won’t be too happy about this.
