Dearest West Side Rag,
First of all, bang-up job on the reporting.
Secondly, I’m an avid dog walker with only limited experience with the occult. Behind the Kraft Mac n’ Cheese 24k Gold bandshell that you so brilliantly reported on, there’s a large sandy staging area and parking lot. My dog ran to the center of the parking lot and picked up what looked like to be a book.
Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be a Bible, which I rescued.
Then, I noticed something even stranger – a modified pentagram and/or Wiccan symbol etched into the sand. With one bible in the center and another facing north, at each quadrant, a rune or symbol (see attached).
Perhaps, there’s a vibrant community of witches celebrating the Spring Solstice?
Maybe, a group hexing Putin?
Or, it was just a group praying that at some point the uptown C train will be repaired.
Nonetheless, thought you all might find it interesting.
Kindest regards and warmest wishes,
“Sublime on 69”
Very interesting. But it is the Spring EQUINOX, not Solstice.just saying. Thanks for sharing.
WSR, this story was neither amusing nor important.
