Season four of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is premiering on February 18th, dropping new episodes every Friday for four weeks. And it just released the first of four new trailers.
The Daily Mail announced the return of the 1950s-Upper West Side housewife-turned standup comic, who will try to restart a shattered career this season.
”Make me Lenny Bruce,” she commands her manager, Susie.
“Amazon Prime Video’s popular comedy-drama aired its dramatic season three finale back in December 2019, which left fans distraught,” the Daily Mail wrote. “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s fourth season was delayed due to the pandemic, which left cast and crew in limbo over when they would start production. Just five months ago, writers were still ‘debating’ on where Midge would go from after the last season.”
One thing’s for sure, she’s going forward in her quest for stardom and freedom — and Susie’s going with her!
That’s my friend Max sitting behind Alex Borstein; shot in Artie’s on Broadway in mid-80s.
Not shot in Artie’s which closed several years ago.
Arties is now “stage deli” used just to film this show
How cool!
