A gunman shot two men at 50 W. 105th Street on Monday evening around 6:36 p.m., an NYPD spokesperson told WSR. A 45-year-old man was shot in the chest and an 81-year-old man got hit in the right foot. Both victims were transported to Mount Sinai Morningside [St. Luke’s] Hospital and were both reported to be in stable condition, NYPD said.

The suspect fled on foot; NYPD described him as a male in his 20’s with a dark complexion.

A Citizen App video taken soon after the incident seems to show paramedics removing one of the victims from a nail salon at 907 Columbus Avenue, around the block from the reported location of the shooting. NYPD did not have further information on this.
