DOROT is honoring the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance with a variety of fun and meaningful events for volunteers of all ages. The 9/11 Day of Service is supported by the Corporation for National and Community Service and tens of thousands of volunteers from across the country participate in this effort to commemorate the tragic events of 9/11 with good deeds in our own communities.

  • Join us for our 9/11 Day of Service Package Delivery where you will pick up a package of treats at DOROT, deliver it to the home of a DOROT older adult and share a friendly phone call.
  • If you like connecting on Zoom, we are offering day and evening art programs and a conversation club.
  • We are also welcoming homemade greeting cards from individuals, families and groups which we will be sharing with active-duty military and veterans’ groups.

To learn more, please visit www.dorotusa.org/dayofservice.
