Police say a 26-year-old Asian woman was approached at 60th Street and Broadway on Sunday night by another woman who spit on her and made an anti-Asian “bias statement”.

The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m., and the victim didn’t know the assailant, police said. It’s not clear what precipitated the confrontation. Police are asking for help finding the suspect.
