Art on the Ave Has a Kids Weekend With Free Hot Chocolate

This weekend, the group that’s been putting art in the windows of vacant storefronts of Columbus Avenue is encouraging families to bring their kids for a socially distant art stroll. The art is up on Columbus from 68th and 77th streets. We wrote about it in more detail here, and the website is here.

And there’s a special gift at the end of the rainbow — or maybe a bribe for kids who might not jump at the chance to look at art. Black Press Coffee is giving out free hot chocolate to people who do the following three things.

  1. Take a photo in front of your favorite artwork
  2. Post the photo and tag @artontheavenyc and @columbusavebid on instagram
  3. Mention “Art on the Ave Kids” at Black Press Coffee (274 Columbus) to receive your free hot chocolate!
