The city has been giving away grab-and-go meals since early in the pandemic, and it has lately offered a new option.
There’s a full breakfast and lunch available every weekday. Most of the lunches consist of sandwiches with a fruit, a vegetable and milk. And the sites now offer an easy-to-make pizza kit that people can take home and heat up in a microwave, oven or toaster. The expansion means more people can use the city meals for three different meals a day.
Meals Hubs serve children and families from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, and adults from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Here are the ones in School District 3, which includes the Upper West Side:

You can make pizza from a kit?! Who knew?
So I guess the age of miracles is still ongoing…?
Can you make a turkey from a kit too?
Looks like the neighborhood pizza joint will have a pretty time competing with this.
