Community Board 7 is going virtual this week, hooking Upper West Siders up with politicians who plan to explain the city’s response to the coronavirus.
The details are below, and we’ve updated those details below. (One of the politicians — Councilmember Mark Levine wrote on Twitter on Monday that he has symptoms of the coronavirus, so his presence at the meeting may be a day-of decision. Feel better Mark!)
Tuesday, March 24th, From 7:00 – 8:15 pm
Thursday, March 26th, From 7:00 – 8:15 pm
CB7 is creating a series of Community Forums to enable our residents to hear from leaders and experts on the latest issues facing our District, and to have an opportunity to share ideas, concerns and access to resources at a time when gathering in person is no longer possible or recommended.
On Tuesday:
• Hear from Council Member MARK LEVINE about the latest on the City’s and State’s Response to the Coronavirus/Covid-19 crisis and more.
On Thursday:
• Hear from Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer about local efforts to address needs in our communities.
On Both Tuesday and Thursday:
• Following the featured speakers, take part in an open forum for unstructured community conversations.
