Upper West Siders don’t mess around on Halloween, and this year the decorations have been particularly over-the-top. Check out a few of our favorites below.

The following two photos were sent by @cynstahgram from 82nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues.

Frankenstein is the new doorman at Dakota Bar on 72nd and Columbus. Photo by Carol Tannenhauser.

Joeanna Sayler spotted another great display at 626 West End Avenue (90th-91st).

Enter the Ruxton Towers at 50 West 72nd Street if you dare!

There OK, Check out W. 80th St. between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenue awesome deculus displays.
Also in Chelsea W. 22nd St. between tenth and eighth avenues, very creative Harry Potter blocks with the witch hats and pumpkins hanging from all the trees lit up at night that you not miss.

It is so awesome to see all the neighborhoods getting into decorating for Halloween and later the holidays season here on the Upper Westside but not only here, check out the east side and the Chelsea area. Very creative displays and for sure a great fun walking tour for schools and with friends and family.
Autumn in New York… Get out and show the kids!

Happy Halloween everyone!
