Tuesday Night: Learn How New Rent Laws Expand Tenant Rights

Assembly Member Linda Rosenthal is holding a forum on Tuesday night to explain to residents how the new state rent laws will impact tenants. For one thing, it makes it harder for landlords to raise rents on rent-regulated apartments even after a tenant leaves the apartment.

The forum takes place at B’nai Jeshurun, 270 West 89th Street, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Housing experts and advocates will also be there.
