Sunday Ice Cream Blizzard Is One Way to Beat the Heat

Sweet treats from ice cream shop Taiyaki.

This weekend is going to be brutally hot. So hot you’ll probably want to be sitting in the dark with the shades drawn and a flashlight nearby. But if you’re sick of staying inside, there’s at least one event that could allow you to get outside while still cooling down.

The Grand Bazaar flea market on 76th and Columbus Avenue is holding its fourth annual Ice Cream Blizzard on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The bazaar’s profits go to four local schools, and there will be lots of other kinds of flea market goods there too.

Very creative and looks quite tempting. Sorry I missed it, and for a good cause as well. Thank you for the great pic.
