Latest Manhattanhenge Does Not Disappoint

Manhattanhenge, which occurs when the sun aligns with the NYC street grid, has been tough to see this year, because it’s been cloudy on most days when the phenomenon occurred. But it came back this week, and Seth on 72nd Street got a pretty sweet shot from his balcony.

Elizabeth Caputo got a photo on 79th:

#NoFilter for the best summer holiday (yup, that’s right I said holiday) when New Yorkers come out and stand in the street together to watch the sun. It aligns perfectly with the street grid! It lights up the city! ⠀ ⠀ This would only happen in New York and I love it so much. #Manhattanhenge
