    74-Year-Old Assaulted in a Restaurant; Police Release Photos of 2 Men

    Police are looking for two men wanted for an assault in a restaurant last month. The description of the crime is below. Based on the address is appears t be La Nuevo Victoria.

    On Saturday, June 1, 2019, at approximately 2100 hours, inside of a restaurant located at 2536 Broadway, two unidentified individuals were involved in a dispute with a 74-year-old male victim.  One of the individuals struck the victim in the face with a closed fist causing him to fall to the ground. Once the victim was on the ground, individual #2 struck the victim with a chair. The victim sustained bruising and complained of pain but refused medical attention at the scene. The individuals fled the location eastbound on 95th Street. They are described as follows:

    Individual# 1: male, Black, approximately 18-years-old, 5’10”, slim build; he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and multicolored sneakers.

    Individual# 2: male, Black, approximately 40-years-old, with a bald head, a beard, and tattoos on his left forearm and right bicep. He was last seen wearing green camouflage pants, a black t-shirt, and black and white sneakers.

    Anyone with information in regard to this assault is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
