The Parade of Ships will sail past the Upper West Side on Wednesday morning, as part of Fleet Week. Expect lots of big military ships to coast by sometime between 7:30 and 11 a.m.
“At approximately 7:46 am, Fort Hamilton will conduct its annual Salute to Ships and exchange a ceremonial 11-gun salute with the USS New York. No live ammunition will be used.
The event will also include a flyover by the U.S. Coast Guard HC-144 aircraft.”
