Nefiis is a new bistro from the owners of beloved Turkish spot Turkuaz. Nefiis, which means “Yummy”, is a Levantine restaurant that features delicious dishes like stuffed cabbage, lamb chops, and grilled salmon. And the new spot also has a wide array of vegetarian dishes, from falafel to babghannoush made from freshly grilled eggplants. Turkish raki is also available. Or simply stop in for tea and dessert.
Levant is the name of the region which encompasses many countries in the Eastern Mediterranean such as Southern Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Jordan and Cyprus, also known as the Fertile Crescent. Levantine cuisine is a mixture of traditional, nutritional, clean and delightful food.
There’s an opening special, where your first glass of wine is $4, or first bottle of beer is $3. And if you’re going to the theater, Nefiis is a good spot to eat before or after.
