Join Will Schwalbe, New York Times Best-Selling Author and Podcaster,
Sunday, October 7, at DOROT
For a Delightful Afternoon of Book Talk

What are the books that have made a difference in your life? And what have you read lately that’s got you thinking?

On Sunday, October 7, book lovers and readers of all stripes are invited to join in a lively discussion with the warm and captivating Will Schwalbe, podcast host, publisher and New York Times best-selling author, about the ways books move us to live each day more fully and with deeper meaning. The program will take place at DOROT, 171 W. 85th Street, from 2 – 3:30 pm.

The author of three books including the New York Times best seller The End of Your Life Book Club chronicling the books he and his mother read together as she was dying, Books for Living, about the role classic and contemporary books play in our lives, and SEND: Why People Email So Badly and How to Do it Better, Will has also worked as a journalist (The New York Times and The South China Morning Post), in television and in publishing. In his popular and captivating podcast “But That’s Another Story,” Will invites notable guests from all walks of life to tell stories of the books, and the reading moments, that changed them.

You won’t want to miss this afternoon spent with fellow book lovers, listening and discussing the legacy of wonderful books. And be sure to come ready with an answer to Will’s favorite question, “What are you reading these days?”

Due to space limitations, registration for this program is required. Contact Wendy Handler at whandler@dorotusa.org or 917-441-3724 to save your place.
