Hippo Playground in Riverside Park near 91st Street is hosting free Art on the Park classes for kids every weekday from 10 a.m. until noon from July 10 through August 31. The program is funded in part by proceeds raised from the playground’s spring fair.
The 91st Street entrance to the playground has been closed for “Critical repaving around the Crabapple Grove,” according to the Riverside Parks Conservancy. “Best access to Hippo is 95th, 89th, or 88th Streets.”
