Police are looking for the man depicted in the photos above and the video below in connection with a rape in Central Park that occurred around 9 p.m. on Monday night. Police sent the following description:
It was reported to the police that on Monday, September 18, 2017 at approximately 2100 hours in the vicinity of West 110 Street and Lenox Avenue, an unidentified male approached the 35-year-old female victim and offered to walk her home. While walking in Central Park, the individual then brandished a knife, physically assaulted and raped the victim and removed her purse containing a cellphone before fleeing.
The individual is described as a male black, approximately 30 years-old, 190lbs., black hair and last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, tan pants, brown shoes and carrying a black book bag.
