AFTER ‘FIRST MOW’, CENTRAL PARK’S LAWNS AND FIELDS SET TO OPEN THIS WEEKEND

Central Park is getting ready to open all the lawns and ballfields in the park on Saturday, weather-permitting, a park conservancy spokesperson tells us. On Thursday, the park held its annual “first mow,” with the Eyewitness News team helping cut the Sheep Meadow grass in advance of the opening.
