Sensei John P. Mirrione, the founder of Harmony By Karate.

Upper West Side martial arts school Harmony By Karate offers classes for children and adults. The Harmony by Karate method integrates the meditation and flexibility of yoga and the deep breathing and flow of Tai Chi, into the striking/grappling skills of karate to evolve the mind, body, and spirit for life.

Harmony By Karate, formerly located inside at Reebok Sports Club/NY, now has a studio at 251 West 81st street. It’s rated in the top 10 martial arts schools in the US; just this month, founder John P. Mirrione was the keynote speaker for the Global GE Leadership conference.

Harmony By Karate is not only famous for developing leaders, but it is known for helping children with special needs and children who are victims of bullying.

The school now also offers yoga classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings, as well as Tuesday mornings.

Call now at 646-387-2073 or go to harmonybykarate.com for more info.

Watch the video below to learn more about the school’s methods.
