A LOST DOG AND A FOUND CAT

We got word yesterday about a dog that had been lost and a cat that had been found. We hope that each of these animals has been reunited with its owner, but in case they haven’t check out the posters below (the cat poster was seen on Broadway in the 90’s).

I guess “Steve” never read the recent dognapping discussion here! Judging from how he writes his dates, he’s not from around here.

So he tied up the pitbull all night in front of a hostel? He does not sound to me like someone who should own a pet at all. Hopefully the dog found a better human companion.

When will people get it into their thick skulls that you CAN’T leave your dog tied up outside!!!! Especially all night! Animal control considers that abandonment. As Glen said in his post, someone like that doesn’t deserve to have a pet. I wouldn’t leave my dog tied up outside for a minute. I would be heartbroken to lose my dog that way. There is no excuse; if you must shop then take your dog home and go back out. This is laziness, they don’t want to make two trips. I have severe arthritis in my knees and walking is very painful, but I’ll make two trips. If it’s just too much for me that day, and I can’t get a friend to help out then I just make do. It’s NOT safe to tie up your dog outside! Maybe you’ve been doing it and say you’ve never had a problem. Want to wait till you run out of luck? My only concern is for the animals. Think about it…
