An employee who works for the building’s management company told one of our readers that the new occupant will be Key Food, which has another location at 86th and Amsterdam. Key Food’s corporate spokesperson didn’t respond to a request for comment.
and the circle continues.
See that, a new supermarket replacing a restaurant.
and no blaming the landlords and no wasteful government interference.
If the frontage is more than 40 feet (which it may not be in this case) isn’t a supermarket the only thing that could have gone in there under those new zoning rules? Not entirely sure how that all works.

Ain’t going to be a Key Foods. Think more along the lines of Balducci’s. When was the last time you saw a Key Foods like store OPEN in Manhattan. Come on now.

LOVE Key Food. Everyone should shop there. Nice people and great sales.
