YOUNG MUSICIANS TO PLAY OUTDOOR SPRING CONCERTS AT LINCOLN CENTER

Young musicians from all over the world will get to say they played at Lincoln Center, as the “Young Music Makers” series starts Thursday.

For the next few months, musicians from elementary, high school and regional groups will play at Josie Robertson Plaza, the central plaza at the performing arts center. The schedule is below, via Lincoln Center:

My office recently moved directly across from Lincoln Center and could see the kids from Verndale High School out there playing just a few minutes ago. Poor kids are from Minnesota and still looked to be freezing their tuchas off, but this will be a nice thing for the students and the community once it starts warming up.
