Two men were robbed at gunpoint at around 12:35 a.m. Saturday on West Drive in Central Park near 64th street, according to police.

The Daily News reported that the two robbers approached a two men in their twenties and demanded their valuables.

One creep brandished a gun and told the victims, “Don’t move. Don’t make noise or I’ll kill you.”

His accomplice asked the terrified victims, “What you got?” before snatching a leather briefcase, cellphone and a wallet from them, along with $114 they were carrying, police said.

The men escaped into Central Park and police are searching for them.

The armed mugger is described as black, in his early 20s, about 6-foot tall and slim, wearing a dark green winter coat and blue jeans.

His accomplice is described as Hispanic, in his late 20s, 5-foot-6, medium build, with long black hair in a ponytail and wearing a sweatshirt and blue jeans.

If you know anything call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.

Correction: early reports indicated that the robbery occurred on Central Park West, which was not the case.

There’s a NYPD security cam right on that corner. If it’s working, one has to believe there must be images of the crime.

“Levites” or “Luddites (who wouldn’t want security cameras)”?

Anyway, another incident of “inside the park crime like the recent sexual assault. Stay out of the park at unreasonable times. Too isolated and the “creeps” come out.
