VIDEO: PRESIDENTIAL MOTORCADE DRIVES THROUGH SILENT UWS STREETS

president

On Thursday night, President Obama made an unexpected visit to the Upper West Side to dine and politick at a private residence near the Museum of Natural History. An area comprising several blocks from Amsterdam Avenue to Central Park was blocked off entirely. Some of our readers were pissed that no one could get in or out (including delivery guys!).

The photo above is of the residence where Obama dined on Columbus Avenue. The video below is of the motorcade leaving along 81st street between Columbus and Central Park West. The video slows as the president passes, in an eerie reminder of the Zapruder film. Photo and video courtesy of Shannon O’Neill.

So pleased to meet you, Mr. Nauseous !!

And, if you ARE feeling unwell, as our British cousins say, you should sign up for one of the many ObamaCare health insurance plans.

That should be easy, since New York State’s Affordable Health Care website works JUST FINE…in fact, according to The NY Times, it already has enrolled some 37,000 New York State residents.

In fact, some of them probably are, like yourself, Republicans.

That’s okay, it’s totally unbiased and accepts anybody … even people who hate the only president to ever succeed in creating affordable health care!

Affordable healthcare? Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Affordable for who? All the old sick people who get to shift their costs to the rest of society.

Excuse me but young people break their arms and legs and some get pregnant and some get sick. This idea that “old” people are siphoning off the money in health care as opposed to big Pharma and health insurance companies and greedy hospitals is another piece of right wing propaganda. The right wing just loves to pit the poor and middle class against each other. While we are fighting over scraps the billionaires are stealing the country.

More right-wing Tea-Party inspired DELIBERATE MIS-INFORMATION!

All ” the old sick people” are NOT ” shift(ing) their costs to the rest of society” BECAUSE IF THEY ARE 65+ THEY ARE ALREADY COVERED BY MEDICARE, INTO WHICH THEY HAD BEEN PAYING THEIR ENTIRE WORKING LIVES AND SO ARE ENJOYING THE PROTECTION THEY HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR UNDER PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS.

In other words, anyone covered by Medicare need not apply for Affordable Health Care as they already HAVE affordable health care!

Please investigate the facts (not partisan lies) before embarrassing yourself in public.

Oh, and B/T/W: it was a REPUBLICAN president, George W. Bush, who expanded the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Coverage Plan, THUS VALIDATING THE ENTIRE CONCEPT OF MEDICARE!

Ok so by old sick people i will define it as those with preconditions up till age 64. Instead of trying to take control of 1/3 of the us economy (and demonstrating to us all how incompetent big govt is), why not just expand medicaid to those with preconditions so that the rest of us dont need to be hoodwinked and lose our existing insurance plans to finance you losers. Oh scooter and another thing – good luck getting talent to go into the medical profession. This was just further widen the care gap as any decent doctor will just refuse insurance and service only the rich. All thanks to president moron unintended consequences obama.
