It’s time to start tuning in to this year’s city elections, because they could have a big effect on the neighborhood.

On Monday, two events will allow people to meet candidates for District 6 City Council (below 96th street) and Manhattan Borough President.

From 6:30 to 8:30, the Council candidates will speak at West-Park Presbyterian Church on 86th. See the flyer below:

And at 7, Democratic candidates for Borough President, including Gale Brewer, will appear at Council House:

UWS – do not forget to ask Gale Brewer why she sold our neighbhorhood down the river by sponsoring the bill that made SROs not be legally allowed to take over night guests and only take 30 day minimum – Gale if its a safety hazard as you claim for overnight why is not a fire hazard for 30 or more days? makes no sense. Just more govt interference to push her communist agenda to take from those who work and earn and give to the moochers and non contributers to society.
