Spring has certainly sprung in New York and Central Park Conservancy is celebrating on Wednesday night:

Say goodbye to winter and hello to spring at the Conservancy’s first annual celebration of the season, Central to Spring! Listen to music, enjoy refreshments from The City Bakery, and watch a dazzling 15-minute fireworks display.

Free and open to the public
Wednesday, April 10 · 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Fireworks at 7:45 pm at Bethesda Terrace (Mid-Park at 72nd Street)

Really sorry I missed fireworks. I love fireworks and can usually see them from Central Park by looking out apt. window.

Weather was so bad last night — could not see anything. Too bad they didn’t chose a rain date. Also, event really not well publicized.
