It’s Macaron Day, and however you feel about that, know this: stores are giving away free macarons!
Among the stores is Epicerie Boulud on Broadway between 63rd and 64th streets. Thanks to Gothamist for the tip. Now go enjoy a butter-cream filled French pastry.
Also, as a rite of spring, Rita’s Italian Ices is giving away Italian ices until 10 p.m. at its store at 2486 Broadway (92nd street)
