GRIDLOCK ALERT: THE OBAMAS HIT THE UWS TODAY

If you’re anywhere in the West 60’s this afternoon, you may have some trouble moving around. President Obama and First lady Michelle Obama are taping an appearance on The View at 65th Street and West End Avenue around 1:30 p.m. and the area could be shut down into the mid-afternoon, says traffic expert Gridlock Sam Schwartz. That’s in addition to the citywide traffic nightmare known as a weeklong UN meeting. Obama will be in the city overnight so he can address the UN on Tuesday.
